Soft Green Water Sugar Jar with Black Cat

A black cat sits on a delicately lovely sugar jar glazed in our specialty “Soft Green Water” glazes with flowing rustic highlights. This piece measures approx. 3 3/4″ wide x 4 1/2″ tall from bottom to the top of the looped handle on the lid. It holds approx. 1 cup to the inside rim beneath the lid. This piece works well as a honey pot, treasure keeper, or jam serving jar, too!

Created from white sandy Northern California clay. The base is wheel thrown with a vine and leaf detail along the bottom, and the lid is hand formed with a lovely, detailed design.  Everything is glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on this piece are rich, gorgeous, and loaded with details!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottom is unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
