Bob the brown bear strolls through a soft green meadow on this soft green water celedon glazed garlic jar. Sure to bring a smile, this jar measures approx. 4″ wide x 5″ tall from bottom to top of Bob’s ears on the lid. It will keep your garlic nicely and can be used for other treasures, too ~ even a luminary when the lid is off. Great for roasting single heads of garlic. A smaller keeper, this piece holds approx. 2 cups ~ 4-5 large cloves, or more smaller cloves.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown, engraved around the base with leaves and vines, and the lid is hand formed. This piece was hand glazed with our specialty elemental fire glazes that are food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning inside and out!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece is always one of a kind, and priceless.
