Exclusively gorgeous, and glazed in our specialty line of Wild Blue Fire, this compact canister set features flowing glazes with a lace design and sculpted blue birds with their eggs on rustic nests.
The taller jar measures approx. 5 1/2″ wide x 6 1/4″ tall from bottom to the handle on the lid and holds approx. 3 1/2 cups.
The smaller, slotted sugar jar measures approx. 4 3/4 ” tall x 4 1/4″ wide. It holds approx. 1 1/2 cups.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is individually hand formed with an ornately scrolled design. The knobs are hand sculpted little blue birds with their eggs on rustic nests. Hand glazed with our specialty Wild Blue Fire line of glazes, these glazes are food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
